Ying discovered Latin calligraphy while studying at university and has been learning from calligraphers around the world since 2015. She explores modern expressions of traditional elements by utilising various scripts from the Roman era to the Middle Ages. Her creations seamlessly blend various languages, including French, Latin, Middle English, and Polish, showcasing a rich tapestry of cultural influences. Through her alphabet, she aims to touch the hearts of those who see her work.

With the idea of "to make impression pieces," "Yinpression" is a combination of "Ying(瑩)" and "impression." This is a location where you get a new "impression" every time you scroll across the page.
