Who are you?

text in Latin
Quadrata, Rustic capital

An quotation from Ovid's Metamorphoses. The layout is arranged the whole piece forms an oval. The white space represents the forest, and the letters in the oval represent a spring in the middle of the forest. When viewed from a distance, it also appears as a jewel. The outside of the oval is surrounded by gold leaf particles, and gold powder is used for Ovid's name at the top. See how the same gold shines in different ways.

inrita fallaci quotiens dedit oscula fonti,
in mediis quotiens visum captantia collum
credule, quid frustra simulacra fugacia captas?
nil habet ista sui; tecum venitque manetque;
tecum discedet, si tu discedere possis!
